The Plan

Nearly £2 million has been spent on a new youth hub in Stoke-on-Trent. YMCA North Staffordshire has secured £1.98 million from the government's Youth Investment Fund for the  base in Harding Road, Hanley. The new youth centre caters to 10 to 13-year-olds, with activities such as art sessions, drama, music and dance, sports and cooking, and has been designed with the help of young people. Eager to increase access to the existing Spin Class provision, YMCA managers Paul and Sue purchased a new suite of Attack B1 Spin Bikes and an Attack Airbike. Paul and Sue recognise the positive impact that sports and fitness has on their members.  This ongoing investment supports the YMCA's core values of " Creating supportive, inclusive and energising communities where young people can truly belong "
